The Clinical Support Coordinator will ensure the quality development, delivery, and ongoing maintenance of clinical support for clients and volunteers.

With innovation as our programming cornerstone, Sagesse works for anyone who has experienced domestic abuse, including people who are at risk of being abused, informally support others, or are involved in sex work.

We work in more than 50 communities across Alberta – either directly providing service or partnering with agencies to deliver programs on our behalf. We are also the backbone agency for Alberta’s provincial IMPACT initiative.

 Qualifications

  • Engages in curiosity and vulnerability (Brené Brown)
  • Challenges the status quo and thrives in a developmental and adaptive environment
  • Acts, learns, and makes decisions through cross‐sectional, gender transformative and intersectional lenses
  • Diploma or Degree in Social Work (or equivalent). Must be able to be registered with professional body
  • Registered Social Worker (or equivalent). Must be able to be registered with professional body
  • Five or more years’ of experience 
  • Experience in supervising staff or volunteers

Role & Responsibilities

Staff and Volunteer Clinical Support and Supervision  

  • Supervise staff and volunteers including assuring performance  management, project management and technical management as well as providing feedback, coaching, technical leadership and fostering teamwork  
  • Provide comprehensive clinical support to Clinical Support staff and all agency volunteers 
  • Support Intervention Services program development, delivery, and quality improvement for all clinical related activities 
  • Monitor, assess and report on clinical support performance 

Volunteer Capacity Building Facilitation 

  • Ensure capacity building of all agency volunteers across Alberta
  • Ensure relationship building with all agency volunteers to establish strong clinical support feedback
  • Support Innovation Team with capacity building updates and changes as required 

 Clinical Program Delivery  

  • Ensure comprehensive and effective system navigation for clients province-wide 
  • Ensure effective service delivery of all programs for clients  
  • Identify and address gaps in service delivery and support province-wide  

Program Administration 

  • Ensure clinical support coverage during office and service hours 
  • Report on relevant monthly activities  
  • Provide information, as necessary, for the development of funding proposals and reports
