  • Location: Calgary. This is a hybrid position (work remotely and work on location in Calgary/Sagesse offices)
  • Details: 30 hours/week, up to nine-month contract. $23.50-25.50/hour

Our capacity building workshops focus on educating all members of society about abuse to help make us all better at recognizing, responding to, and preventing violence.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in social work (community development focus preferred) OR degree/diploma in business administration with social services sector experience.
  • 3-5 years of work experience in social services sector preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, exceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to work remotely in a fast-paced, self-directed environment.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other office technology.

Responsibilities:

Project Management

  • Development of project implementation plan.
  • Lead the implementation of the action plan.
  • Communicate and secure validation and support of the project plan with key stakeholders.
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to key stakeholders.
  • Execute project plan on time and on budget.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.

Member Engagement

  • Ensure member contact information and working group assignments are accurate and up to date utilizing Sagesse’s contacts database (CRM).
  • Maintain relationships with current members through individual meetings, agency events, electronic communication, etc. as necessary.
  • Monitor, assess and report on member engagement, member concerns.
  • Respond to all member requests and disseminate and/or triage as applicable.
  • Ensure members know and understand the value of collective impact and collaborative initiatives. Ensure members understand their role within collective impact and collaborative initiatives.
  • Manage all internal membership communications.
    • Newsletter (in collaboration with the Reputation and Resource Staff).
    • Responsible for monitoring required website updates.
    • Ad hoc requests.

Administration

  • Report on monthly activities and statistics.
  • Maintain Membership program filing systems.
  • Administration of all related meetings (scheduling, agendas, meeting notes, shared resources).
  • Support key stakeholders with the communication, coordination, and organization of assigned projects and working groups.
  • Attendance at all staff, and team meetings, and supervision.
  • Work collaboratively with Sagesse colleagues to connect partners to all agency programs where applicable.
  • All other duties as required.
